Sensex – BSE’s benchmark index of 30 top companies. Nifty – NSE’s index of the top 50 companies.

🐂 Bull Market – Rising stock prices & strong economy. 🐻 Bear Market – Falling stock prices & economic slowdown.

When a company offers shares to the public for the first time. Example: Zomato’s IPO in 2021 raised ₹9,375 crore!.

Large-cap – Established companies (Reliance, TCS). Mid-cap – Medium-sized growing firms. Small-cap – Emerging businesses with high growth potential.

P/E Ratio – Price-to-Earnings ratio, helps assess stock valuation. Dividend – Company’s profit distributed to shareholders.

Prevents extreme stock price movements.  Upper Circuit – Max price increase in a day.  Lower Circuit – Max price drop in a day.

Demat Account – Holds shares electronically. Trading Account – Used to buy/sell stocks online.
